Horse Training

Horse training is available with LIMITED space!  From halter breaking to a finished performance horse.

Training horses are ridden and worked with 5 days a week.  Board is included in the training fee and will be a stall or private paddock.  The following is what is expected from the training program:

$500 Per Month

Halter Breaking (1 year or less)

(one month minimum)

Catch/Halter easily

lead

stand tied quietly

Pick up feet

Stand for farrier

Load in a trailer

Respect handler's space

Stand quietly for grooming

$700 Per Month

Under Saddle Training

(two month minimum)

Willingly accept bridle and saddle

Flex laterally both directions

Yield the hindquarters and forequarters

Walk, trot, and canter both directions on cue

Back

Safely ride outside an enclosed arena or round-pen

Training for broke horses is available and will be determined on a per horse basis.
